Congressman Pacquiao

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao earns his living by hitting other men in the head until they fall down unconscious or he finishes the fight with more points than them. This pugilist specialist is now a congressman in Philippines’ House of Representatives.

“He wants change,” Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, said of Pacquiao before the boxer won the election. “I think it’s genuine. People see that he wants to help his country, and that’s why they’re voting. That’s why they support him.”

Good luck opposing his legislation. Brawls occurring during political sessions is nothing new as the video below shows. We’ve all seen these types of fights before but they don’t normally involve the best fighters in the world. Hopefully this won’t happen in the Philippines anytime soon.
